Job Description:

Informatica, a global leader in AI-powered cloud data management, is hiring a Product Security Engineer to strengthen product security across its cloud and enterprise solutions.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of security, cloud technologies, and DevOps, ensuring that products are designed, developed, and maintained with the highest security standards. You’ll contribute to the security lifecycle, from designing secure features to conducting audits, compliance checks, and incident response. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with product teams, influence security standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop security features for products, applications, and solutions.
• Maintain product security throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Integrate new security features and updates into existing products.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Automate security testing and integrate tools into the development workflow.
• Manage security controls, monitoring, and incident response procedures.
• Participate in audits, compliance assessments, and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement secure software standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
• Promote security awareness through training and guidance programs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, product security, or DevSecOps.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with security frameworks and standards (OWASP, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Shell, Java).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Terraform).
• Familiarity with security tools (Mend, code analyzers, vulnerability scanners, IDS).
• Ability to conduct security assessments and manage incident response.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
